Fnatic secure spot in 2019 League of Legends World Championships

Fnatic have secured a spot from the 2019 League of Legends World Championships after beating Schalke 04 3-0 in the LEC.

It was a string that Schalke fans may wish to overlook but the strain will be about Fnatic because they face G2 Esports at the Fnatic – following the MSI Champions pulled a reverse-sweep against Fnatic only a week ago.
Schalke’s ADC Elias’Upset’ Lipp reckons Fnatic have a chance to redeem themselves.
He explained:”I believe G2 will likely take it 3-1 but Fnatic have had a great run of form. If they reveal what they could show against G2, I think they are also able to conquer on them.
“They’re really close a week and I think tomorrow is quite close too. It depends a whole lot on momentum probably, if G2 begin strong from the first few games they will shut it out but if Fnatic do nicely they also have the capability to 3-0 G2.”
The year is not around for Schalke despite dropping tonight. They have an additional opportunity to make it if they can emerge victorious in the Gauntlet – in which they might have to beat either Splyce or even Origen.
Upset said:”Who knows what happened in the 3 months where Origen and Splyce have been practicing, maybe they found something which works really well for them so it’s difficult to tell how powerful they’re at the moment.
“If you look in Spylce’s playoff game against Rogue where they lost 3-0 and also the truth that Origen didn’t even make playoffs, you’d think we would be the favorites going in the Gauntlet
“Today, it’s a bit difficult to feel confident or happy about things since we just dropped in a gloomy fashion but I think when I have a night of sleep and just think about it logically again, we definitely feel much more confident going in the Gauntlet.
“Getting to Worlds is the one thing which matters now, it’s the most important thing to us and we’ll give it our all to get it.”
